We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a new locum position in Illinois. Providers will deliver a full range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for both inpatient and outpatient services.
We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a new locum position in Illinois. Providers will deliver a full range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for both inpatient and outpatient services.
Responsibilities
- Monday–Friday, consecutive shifts preferred, 20+ shifts/month, no weekends
- CT- and ultrasound-guided biopsies (lung, thyroid, renal, liver, bone, lymph node, bone marrow)
- Drain placements and management (abscess drains, chest tubes, drain exchanges)
- Biliary interventions
- Gastrointestinal and genitourinary procedures
- Vascular access and hemodialysis access procedures
- Oncology-related interventional procedures
- Collaborate with referring physicians, hospital teams, and procedural staff
- EMR: Epic
Qualifications
- Board Certified (IR)
- MD or DO
- Active Illinois medical license
- DEA and ACLS required
- Minimum 1 year of IR experience
