We are seeking an Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Practice (FP) physician to join our inpatient care team in North Carolina on a locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity to provide impactful care while collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Duration: 3 months with the option to extend
- Setting: Inpatient
- Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, full-time (40 hours per week)
- No weekends or holidays required
- Patient Load: 10-15 patients per day (rounding)
- Paper charting (no EMR)
- Support staff includes Psychiatrists, Social Workers, RNs, and Primary Care providers
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality inpatient care for adults
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and manage patient care plans
- Ensure thorough documentation and communication
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Active medical license in the state of North Carolina (or eligible to obtain)
- Previous inpatient experience preferred
