General Cardiologist – Full-Time - Arizona
Job Summary
We are seeking a Full-Time General Cardiologist to join a well-established and growing cardiology practice in Goodyear, Arizona. The position offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding, supported by a collaborative care team consisting of 2 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cardiologist seeking strong compensation, productivity incentives from year one, and a clear partnership track.
Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Provide comprehensive cardiology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Perform inpatient hospital rounding and manage outpatient cardiology clinic visits
Diagnostic & Non-Invasive Procedures
- Interpret and perform:
- Electrocardiograms (EKG)
- Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
- Treadmill and Nuclear Stress Testing
- Vascular Ultrasound
- Event monitors and Holter monitoring
Interventional & Invasive Procedures
- Perform interventional cardiology procedures including:
- Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
- Emergency and elective angioplasty and stenting
Call & Schedule
- No ER call
- Practice call only: 1 week per month
- Hospital rounding: 1 in 4 weekends
- Full-time schedule with work-life balance support
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation
- Base salary: $450,000 – $500,000, based on experience
- Productivity bonus starting Year 1
- Partnership track available

Candidate Requirements
Licensure
- Active Arizona medical license or eligibility through IMLC
Board Status
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Board certification required within 5 years of residency
Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience required
Certifications
- BLS (AHA issued) – Required
- ACLS (AHA issued) – Required if requesting conscious sedation privileges
Vaccinations
- Flu vaccination required (medical or religious exemption accepted)
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical or religious exemption accepted)
