Locum Anesthesiologist
Start: April 20206 (There are 2-3 week per month available for pick up each month)
Schedule: Mon–Fri | 8-hr shifts | No nights | No weekends

Practice Overview
Hospital-based anesthesia practice with no CRNA supervision. Case mix includes general anesthesia, OB, vascular/interventional vascular, cardiac cath lab, trauma, healthy pediatrics (down to 6 months), occasional NORA, and regional anesthesia.
Provider must be able to perform all required cases from Day 1 and sign attestation.
Skills
Case Details
- Pediatrics: Healthy pts ≥6 months; ENT, occasional urology/ortho; avg 0–2 cases/day
- OB: Occasional epidurals/C-sections; typically 1–2/week (never >4–5/week)
- Cardiac Cath Lab: Ablations, angioplasty/stents, ICDs, EP studies, LAA occlusion
- Regional: Interscalene (primary), occasional popliteal & supraclavicular blocks
Required Day 1 Competencies
- Healthy pediatrics (≥6 months)
- Major & interventional vascular (incl. AAA)
- Cardiac cath lab cases
- Obstetrics
- Trauma
- Peripheral nerve blocks
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (cert within 5 yrs of residency)
- 2+ years experience
- BLS required; ACLS if requesting conscious sedation privileges
- Flu & COVID vaccination (medical/religious exemption accepted)
